A former Disney Imagineer, Maggie Parr left the corporate world in 1994 to go freelance and spend more time on her painting. She began exhibiting her work in galleries in Los Angeles and New York, and developed a successful commercial art and design business doing murals, portraits, illustrations, and architectural and industrial design. She works from her Los Angeles studio, traveling occasionally to paint murals in place or consult in design meetings. Her work has been published in several books and exhibition catalogs.
