Becky Remy Creative Director, CEO
Becky Remy spent a lot of her childhood in the dark. This was usually due to her parents finding her at 2 AM – sprawled on the floor, drawing. That's when they'd turn off the light and yell 'go to sleep'. Her creative energy and drive soon led to progressive careers in publishing, advertising and marketing for some very big shot agencies and companies (saying Fortune 500 too many times can be annoying). After many successful years and programs for United Airlines, Westin Hotels, Hilton Hotels and Resorts to Sega America and Intuit, Becky and her creative friends founded their own agency. [If you Google her, you can still find her name in an archived LA Times article about women owned virtual businesses, before virtual team businesses became the trending thing!]
After one of the agency's top illustrators sought advice on fine art publishing contracts and licensing deals, she soon transitioned from adviser into artist manager. That's when Becky discovered that life had brought her full circle (starting college at 17, she chose to double major in advertising and interior design). Her simple motto – adorning her wrist in a bracelet crafted from vintage typewriter keys – is CREATE! Fine Art these days is a business and art can be an investment. Yet she believes artwork itself should be enjoyed, shared and lived with every day. Becky Remy encourages artists, designers, art dealers and industry partners to operate with integrity, enthusiasm and a huge dose of humor.
